ACCEPTING OUR TERMS
When you book a room on our website, you’ll need to click “I Accept” to agree to these terms. You won’t be able to finish your booking without doing this. By clicking “I Accept,” you’re confirming that you agree to follow these terms. We highly suggest reading through them carefully before accepting.
OUR AGREEMENT WITH YOU
If you’re booking as an individual (not as a business), Konkan Crown (referred to as “we” or “us”) provides all rooms and additional services based on these terms. A formal agreement between you and Konkan Crown begins once we provide you with a booking reference number for your room and any extras you’ve chosen. Your booking isn’t official or binding until you receive this reference number from us. Please note that our management reserves the right to cancel any booking at their discretion.
YOUR BOOKING
No Transfers or Resales: You cannot pass your booking (or any part of it) to someone else or try to sell it. If you do, Konkan Crown will cancel your booking and keep any payments you’ve made.
Booking for Others: You’re allowed to book on behalf of someone else. However, you’re responsible for making sure everyone in the booking follows these terms, just as if they had booked it themselves.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. If you show up at the hotel and are under 18, you won’t be allowed to stay by yourself.
Correct Name: Make sure the name on the booking is accurate when you submit it. You can’t change it after the booking is made.
Group Bookings: If you book five or more rooms for the same night, it’s considered a Group Booking. Special rules will apply for changing or canceling Group Bookings.
Extras: We offer additional services or items (extras) when you book. These are not included in the room price unless we specifically agree otherwise during your booking. Extras depend on availability and can’t be transferred to another booking. If an extra you paid for isn’t available when you arrive, we’ll refund you the amount you paid for it. All extras are provided under these terms.
RATES AND PAYMENT
Room Rates: The price for each room is what’s listed on our website when you book, or, if you book by phone, the price we tell you at that time.
Payment Timing: You need to pay the full amount when you book unless Konkan Crown tells you otherwise.
Identification for Payment: If you’re paying with cash for a walk-in booking at Konkan Crown, you must show a photo ID (like a passport or driver’s license) or a valid credit/debit card.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Identification for Foreign Guests: All international guests must show a passport with a valid visa at check-in (this is required by law).
Identification for Domestic Guests: All Indian guests need to provide a government-issued photo ID with an address, such as a Voter ID, Driver’s License, Passport, or Masked Aadhar Card.
Check-in Time: You can check in starting at 10:00 AM on your arrival date. If you’d like to check in earlier, please talk to the Duty Manager in person. Early check-in depends on availability.
Identification for Walk-ins: For walk-in bookings paid with cash at Konkan Crown, you’ll need to present a photo ID (like a passport or driver’s license) or a valid credit/debit card.
HOTEL POLICY
Valuables: Please store money, jewelry, and other valuable items in your secured luggage bags. Konkan Crown’s management is not responsible for any loss. If the person, company, or group listed on your booking doesn’t pay the full amount owed, you agree to cover those charges yourself.
Visitor Policy: For the safety and security of our guests, we do not allow visitors to go to guest rooms. Our standard check-in time is 10:00 AM, and check-out is 09:00 AM.
Damage and Illegal Activities: You’ll be charged for any damage to hotel property. Activities banned by law, such as prostitution or drug use, are strictly prohibited. If you’re sharing a room, you confirm that you and your roommate agree to stay together willingly.
ROOMS
Occupancy Limits: The maximum number of people allowed per room is clearly shown on our website (www.konkancrown.com) during booking.
Exceeding Limits: If these rules are not followed, guests will need to book an additional room at the regular daily rate.
Visitor Restriction: To keep our guests safe and secure, visitors are not permitted in guest rooms.
Children: In addition to the maximum occupancy listed on konkancrown.com, one child under 6 years old is allowed per room.
Child Supervision: Children must not be left alone in rooms or public areas at any time.
Smoking and Safety Rules: Smoking is not allowed in Konkan Crown hotel, and you must not tamper with our fire detection system. If you break these rules, we will cancel your booking without a refund and ask you to leave immediately. You agree to let us charge you for any costs we face, such as specialized cleaning (to restore the room as non-smoking) or the room’s cost if it can’t be used. These charges will be applied to the payment card you used for your booking. We’ll send you a detailed list of these charges within 10 business days. We may also refuse future bookings from you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation rules can differ based on the hotel season, rates, and timing. Below is the standard policy for room cancellations, no-shows, or early departures at Konkan Crown when no specific policy is mentioned in your reservation letter or online booking page.
Payment: Full payment is required 15 days before your arrival date.
Cancellations or Changes: If you cancel or shorten your stay at least 15 days before arrival, there’s no charge. Cancellations made 14 to 5 days before arrival will incur a penalty of 50% of the total booking cost plus tax. Cancellations within 4 days or less, on the arrival day, no-shows, or early departures will incur a penalty of 100% of the total booking cost plus tax.
PRE-PAID BOOKINGS:
Full payment is due at the time of booking. These bookings cannot be refunded or canceled.
REFUND POLICY
If you’ve paid a deposit or full amount for your room but need to cancel due to unexpected events, we’ll look into refund options. The refund will depend on the specific rules of your booking, and our staff will inform you via email.
Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 21-30 business days, depending on the bank.
Refund Method: The refund will go to the bank account you provide or back to the original payment source.
Refund Fee: Any service charges applied by banks for electronic transfers (ECS) will apply.
NO SHOW POLICY
If you don’t cancel or change your booking by the final booking date and don’t show up, you’ll be charged 100% of the total booking cost.
GST (GOODS AND SERVICES TAX)
GST Invoice: If you need a GST invoice, please provide your GST number at check-in. Once you’ve given us the GST number, it cannot be changed after check-in. Konkan Crown is not responsible for any losses you might face if you don’t provide the correct GST details.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Definition: A booking of five or more rooms is considered a Group Booking.
Cancellations or Changes: If you cancel, shorten your stay, or reduce the number of rooms 30 days or more before your arrival date, there’s no charge. If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before arrival, you’ll be charged a penalty of 10% of the total booking cost or the cost of one night, whichever applies. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, there’s no refund, and you’ll be charged 100% of the total booking cost.
Adding Nights: You can add extra nights to your Group Booking after the original dates, depending on availability and payment. The rate for the additional night(s) will be based on the room price at the time you make the change
GOVERNING LAW
By using our website or sharing information with us, you agree that any disputes about privacy or these terms will be handled under Indian law, specifically in Mumbai. You also agree to follow any rules about damages outlined in our Terms of Use or any other agreement we have with you.
COMPLAINT HANDLING PROCESS
If an issue comes up after you’ve booked a room, you can send your complaint to aditya.sawant@konkancrown.com. We’ll receive it and pass it to the right department within 24 hours. We’ll work to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible.
NOTE
We may update these terms or cancellation policies at any time without advance notice. Konkan Crown is not responsible for compensating you for any indirect or unexpected issues caused by changes to dates, room types, or due to uncontrollable events like COVID-19, natural disasters, wars, or similar circumstances.
